Ah, the beach

Upon visiting my hometown today, I stopped off at the beach to photograph the incredible 30 foot waves at Maverick's. And I guess it goes to show what a sicko I am that a rotting seagull head sticking up out of the sand caught my interest more than the beautiful landscape around me. Ah well...

WTF?

Christmas pwnd this year

Well, I can delete a few things off the list of "Stuff I Want" to the left now! A couple months back, my neighbors up and moved off to England (lucky bastards) and the night before they left, they decided to give me their brand new 32" TV. I was completely blown away by that! And for Christmas, I got my hands on a new Playstation2... And already I have 6 games for the thing! It came with two games, a second controller and a memory card. With some Christmas money, I ran out and bought Star Wars Bounty Hunter and GTA Vice City. And I am doing some game reviews for zengamer.com so they sent me the new Spyro The Dragon game and Myst 3 to review, and the spooky-looking 'Run Like Hell' should be on its way soon too.

I still don't have an Eclipse, midget porn, or Christopher Hall naked in my bed, but hey... all in due time, my friends, all in due time. (insert evil laugh here)

Yes, I know you were all sick of looking at that hideous template provided by Movable Type. So was I. Maybe some of you hate this one too. But I don't care.

Anyway, this post is just to tell you all DO NOT REPORT BROKEN LINKS even though it says to at the bottom of the menu on the left. Why not? Because they're ALL broken. Well the links in Pandora's Box are anyway... Probably half of what's in Kill Your Brain too. I haven't got the other pages and files back up yet. Nor have I got even a third of my archives back up here. And I probably won't for a little while yet as I've got a lot of real life junk in my way right now (good stuff though) and cyberspace is on the back burner for a bit.

So go outside or something.... 'cause I don't have time to entertain you right now. Hmmm.... maybe I'll hire a circus monkey to hang out here. Wonder if he'd throw poop at my site viewers...

So like, this is what I see out of my window. Yes, I'm bored.

I need Image::Magick damnit

Yeah... So I used to have this WONDERFUL tool built into Movable Type where I could upload a picture, choose whether I want an embedded image or a pop-up, and if I chose pop-up, I could specify the size of the thumbnail I wanted, it would make a perfectly sized popup window with no scrollbars or menus, and it would spit the lovely chunk of code out for me to paste wherever I pleased.

My webhost SWEARS that Image::Magick has been installed... Funny, Movable Type says it hasn't. And because of this, the reconstruction of my entire website is on hold until I figure out what the hell to do about this.

I think it goes without saying that I'm pretty peeved over it. So I got bored and changed templates... I don't particularly like ANY of the templates supplied with MT, but I got sick of looking at the navy blue/white one.
